From interior minister to prime minister. Nooruddin Badawi will be the "fireman" who will run the new phase in the country after the popular movement. Badawi was born on December 22, 1959 in Ain Taya, in the Algerian suburb of Algiers. He graduated from the National School of Administration. He held several positions and posts in several governorates including Oran, Setif and Constantine. He was appointed Monday as prime minister, according to the Algerian presidency.
