Sari, speaking on the eve of the Chelsea-Tottenham Hotspur clash on Wednesday, repeated Chelsea's decision to pay a one-week kickoff as punishment for his rebellion and disobedience.
Kiba, who joined Chelsea from Atletico Bilbao for $ 93 million - a record amount for a goalkeeper - had refused to leave the stadium after Sari decided to replace him with Willi Capalero.
Sari was furious after that, leaving the pitch for the dressing room, but he changed his mind and later came back to witness Chelsea's 4-3 defeat by penalty shootout.
"I spoke to the goalkeepers, of course, and then we talked together and apologized Kiba to the technical staff," Sari told reporters
"I think he made a big mistake, but we have to go beyond that, we do not want to kill him, so the club has announced its position," he said. "
But Sari declined to say whether Kiba would be the goalkeeper of Chelsea against Tottenham or Arsenal and Manchester United for a place in the Champions League.
"I have to make a decision, maybe yes and maybe not, it will be a joint decision for all players," he said.
The 60-year-old Italian coach said he was "not feeling any pressure" after the losses suffered by Chelsea in the past few days, especially against Manchester City and Manchester United. But that was not enough. He then expressed regret for his fellow players and the club.
